About us
The Clock Tower Sanctuary
The Clock Tower Sanctuary has been operating since November 1997.
In this time we have been able to help over 1200 young people who have made thousands of contact visits with us over this period.
Many young people have been saved from sleeping in shop doorways, carparks and under Brighton Pier through signposting to relevant service providers for places in night shelters and hostels and, in some cases, secure Council accommodation.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a voluntary organisation and registered Charity, is Christian in inspiration and supported both spiritually and financially by Churches in Brighton and Hove.
Funds are raised through donations from local individuals and organisations, grant making trusts and our own fundraising activities.
Where possible, the Clock Tower Sanctuary integrates volunteers and services users in all areas of its operation.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary has close ties with The Princes' Trust, The New Steps Millennium Volunteers and is a member of the Brighton and Hove Voluntary Sector Forum.
